Purpose of the job
Under the supervision of the Team Leader, IT Project Management and Business Analysis, the IT Business Process Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, participating in the review and documenting the various business processes. Through his knowledge of the company, processes and systems, the analyst will play an advisory role with the various internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will liaise between stakeholders and internal and external technical resources in the implementation and modification of technologies and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Define and deepen business needs in collaboration with the company's stakeholders;
Analyze, model and document business processes;
Explain the business context and the impact of projects on the organization's processes;
Helps explain the impact of complex problems and teams up with other colleagues and partners to find the best solution to problems;
Present concrete and effective solutions adapted to the needs of internal customers;
Lead the solution selection process, including option analysis, definition of evaluation criteria, participation in demonstrations, assessment of alignment with functional and technical requirements, and recommendation of the solution best suited to business needs;
Advise and assist business teams with a view to improvement and innovation;
Help identify ROI for different initiatives;
Document analyses, possible solutions and impacts;
Ensure a shared understanding among the various stakeholders, internal and external, and the IT department;
Proactively document solutions, processes, concepts and lessons learned from our experiences;
Communicate effectively with non-technical staff and team members;
Perform all other related tasks.

Business Process Expert: You are a specialist in process optimization, able to dissect workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
Communicator and Facilitator: Communication is your strength. You excel at liaising between internal teams, external partners, and technical resources to ensure project success.
Curious and Creative Analyst: You go beyond stated requests to fully understand the underlying business needs, challenge them when necessary, and propose relevant solutions or alternatives through your analytical thinking and creativity.
Strategic Advisor and Innovator: With a solid background in business analysis, you provide informed recommendations to improve processes and maximize the return on investment of initiatives.
Versatile and Organized: Your ability to manage several projects simultaneously and to document processes in a clear and precise way distinguishes you.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the retail field, mainly in head office operations as well as as a business analyst;
Experience in the retail industry in systems implementation;
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand business challenges and develop solutions adapted to organizational needs;
Ability to document business processes and workflow in a clear and concise manner;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Ease of learning about business needs and the systems involved in them;
Bilingual spoken and written, English and French (The person will have to communicate with suppliers outside of Quebec);
Proficiency in the Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word);
Interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills and team spirit;
Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
