In over 50 years of existence, CEP Forensic has successfully determined the most probable cause of a loss or a failure in over 120 000 cases. Typically, insurance companies, or attorneys in case of litigation, assign our experts to produce reports in a wide range of fields: Fire Investigation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Biomechanical, Structural and Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Collision Reconstruction, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, as well as Environmental Science.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Events, Communications and Marketing Coordinator to manage marketing initiatives, events, and communications that elevate our brand and client experience. This role is available in our Edmonton, Vancouver, or Calgary office.

Your role:
Program Planning & Coordination: Develop and maintain comprehensive event, training and content calendars that align with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs.
Content Development: Identify relevant topics and themes for events, communications, and educational initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Client Training Support: Coordinate and support the planning, promotion, and execution of client training initiatives, including webinars and in-person sessions. Collaborate with trainers and technical experts to ensure engaging and informative experiences.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with speakers, vendors, partners, and subject matter experts to ensure seamless collaboration and content delivery.
Creative Support: Assist in the development and refinement of marketing materials, presentations, and branded assets that enhance engagement and professionalism.
Promotion & Communications: Schedule and promote events, programs, and training sessions through various marketing channels including digital platforms, social media, and internal communications.
Event Execution & Logistics: Oversee operational and technical aspects of events, including setup, attendee experience, troubleshooting, and real-time coordination.
Post-Event & Training Follow-Up: Facilitate follow-up activities including distribution of materials, credential processing, feedback collection, and performance evaluation for both events and training sessions.
Administrative Coordination: Serve as primary point of contact for event-related logistics, including scheduling, inventory management, promotional materials, and vendor coordination.
What you bring to the table?
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in a similar role involving event coordination, marketing, or client engagement.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency with presentation and design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva) and virtual event platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with client-facing communication, relationship building, and managing expectations professionally.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & InDesign) – an asset.
Bilingual (French/English) – an asset.
