Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist!
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Powermill Programmer
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience with programming and operating 3 Axis and 5 Axis machines
Working knowledge with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
Knowledge of FPT/FCS work holding
Experience with Hermle 5 Axis machines and Erowa robotic pallet systems is considered an asset
Capable of recognizing and solving problems
Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
Duties And Responsibilities:
Perform your work duties in a professional and safe manner.
Program and operate multiple CNC machines
Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output
Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
Select appropriate machines and position/load material for a job
Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine, etc.
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
Other Attributes:
Ability to work overtime as required
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, suppliers, and customers as required
Written and verbal communication skills
Planning, and organizational skills
Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
