Position Title: Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a qualified individual to perform the following responsibilities:
Competitive Analysis & Market Intelligence:
Identify and evaluate key competitors for each brand and track quarterly activity; provide quarterly reviews for key brands, including market trend updates, competitor summaries, and brand performance highlights; identify business opportunities for the portfolio through quarterly marketing reports.
• Track monthly results against forecasts with the logistics team and adjust latest estimates as needed based on market trends and brand performance.
Strategic Brand Planning & Execution:
Manage annual brand planning, forecasting, and A&P budgeting for all products sold in Quebec; conduct quarterly and annual reviews to ensure spending remains within budget and reallocate funds as needed to optimize activities.
• Work closely with SAQ representatives to present brand plans and marketing objectives developed in collaboration with suppliers.
• Develop and plan marketing activities, promotional materials, and sales tools in cooperation with suppliers. These must meet Authentic’s standards and be completed and delivered on time.
• Evaluate and report on quarterly marketing plans to ensure ongoing activities are effective.
• Act as the Quebec-based point of contact for suppliers, addressing day-to-day questions and providing regular brand updates.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure product availability and proper supply planning aligned with promotional programs.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop materials for the sales team.
Management/Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date information using Authentic’s systems and marketing databases; create and store brand plans in AWSM’s shared filing system; manage promotional budgets and expenses in line with company guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual and hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or a related discipline) or possess a minimum of three to four years of experience managing marketing for a significant portfolio of wines or leading consumer goods. Candidates should have completed advanced-level wine and spirits education courses and demonstrate a strong passion for the industry.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and includes an annual performance-based bonus, professional expense allowance, and comprehensive group benefits. Some travel will be required.
