Responsibilities
What your days look like as Inside Sales Support:
Identify customer needs and requirements, and provide them with technical solutions to complex logistical challenges by leveraging our accumulated knowledge of the network and capabilities;
Provide commercial support through price analysis, product pricing, price maintenance, and managing the quotation database;
Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations Management, and Pricing Management teams to identify pricing opportunities and develop pricing segmentation strategies;
Maintain and ensure accuracy of product pricing;
Support the business with timely and accurate pricing proposals;
Work closely with the commercial team to identify pricing opportunities, prepare customer quotations, track execution, and provide relevant metrics;
Act as a key point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and enhancing their purchasing experience;
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations and increase responsiveness;
Maintain and update customer and pricing databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility;
Generate reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and pricing trends to support data-driven decisions;
Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and share insights with relevant teams;
Ensure accuracy in initial price entry with strong attention to detail;
Deliver efficient price quote turnaround with a sense of urgency;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To succeed as Inside Sales Support you must have:
3 to 5 years of experience in the maritime industry;
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency;
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed;
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Bilingualism (French and English) is essential for this position.
Working Environment:
Local travel may be required (less than 10% of the time);
