As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll have oversight and responsibility for the overall design strategy and direction of AgExpert’s product suite. As a UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on implementation and execution of the overall direction. What you’ll do: Senior UX/UI Designer: Lead the strategic design direction and provide senior oversight of intuitive, accessible and visually engaging user experiences for AgExpert’s suite of products UX/UI Designer: Execute and implement high-fidelity designs, prototypes and specifications based on the established design direction Collaborate with product owners, developers and agriculture experts to turn big ideas into practical, user-centred solutions Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure our tools truly meet the needs of Canadian producers Create and present wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that bring clarity and excitement to innovation Advocate for the user at every stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring their voice is heard and their needs are met Stay grounded in real-world agricultural challenges, keeping design practical and impactful What we’re looking for: Passion for agriculture and a drive to make a difference through design A creative problem-solver who thrives in an Agile, collaborative environment A strong communicator who builds trust and partnerships across teams An organized multi-tasker who can juggle priorities without losing sight of the big picture A commitment to staying current with design trends and continuously improving What you’ll need: A bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction or a related field, and at least five years of experience designing digital products (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) A portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centred designs that solve real problems Familiarity with agricultural workflows or a willingness to learn about the challenges producers face Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD UX certification is an asset You belong here At FCC, we’re committed to creating an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace – one that reflects the communities where we live, work and play.
