As a Senior Web Developer on our AgExpert team, you’ll design and deliver modern applications that help Canadian producers thrive, driving the future of agriculture technology alongside a collaborative, creative and technically excellent team. In this role, you’ll architect, design and deliver full-stack solutions for AgExpert’s web platforms, working closely with developers, stakeholders and technical leads to bring robust, scalable and user-centered features to life. You’ll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing existing systems, adding new features and fixing bugs in our commercially available agriculture software. *3 Positions Available What you’ll do Drive the architecture and development of modern web applications using the latest technologies Lead design sessions and collaborate with talented peers to solve complex technical challenges Write clean, maintainable code and champion best practices in code reviews Mentor and inspire other developers, helping the team grow and innovate Optimize solutions for performance, scalability and business impact Be a key contributor to the evolution of AgExpert’s software, directly supporting Canadian agriculture What we’re looking for Creative problem-solver who thrives on collaboration and continuous learning Strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts to any audience Team player who actively contributes to group discussions and supports others Passionate about delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions Comfortable adapting to change and working in Agile environments What you’ll need A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or statistics, and at least 10 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Advanced skills in Angular 19+, ASP.NET Core 8+, TypeScript, SCSS, NodeJS, Yarn, Azure DevOps, Git, SQL Server and Entity Framework 7+ Proven experience with both front-end and back-end development for enterprise web applications Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), code reviews, unit testing and DevOps practices Experience mentoring or coaching developers Knowledge of design patterns and their practical use Experience with commercial agriculture software, React, Docker or Kubernetes is an asset You belong here At FCC, we’re committed to creating an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace – one that reflects the communities where we live, work and play.
