This full-time permanent legal assistant role will provide support to lawyers in our Litigation practice. This position will play a key role in handling administrative items. We are seeking a highly organized professional individual with excellent client service skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, high performance culture. You will be focussing on: Transcribe/modify correspondence, agreements, contracts, proceedings, reports and other dictated or handwritten material Perform administrative duties related to the position, including time charges, expense reports and billing Assume responsibility for the agenda and ensure follow-up Maintain filing up to date, including file indexing Make photocopies, transmit faxes, digitalize documents and perform any other duties requested Skills and Experience Required Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in litigation Excellent knowledge of French and English grammar Good knowledge of Outlook Excellent knowledge of Word, including its advanced features Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel Meticulous and detail-oriented Organized and able to manage priorities Team player, versatile and able to work under pressure Autonomous, proactive and able to work quickly Bilinguism Norton Rose Fulbright is a large international legal practice with multiple offices around the world.
