About the Opportunity
In collaboration with the Health Services Manager, the Electroneurophysiology Technologist Team Lead provides leadership, innovation and support to the Electroneurophysiology Lab.
The Electroneurophysiology Technologist Team Lead is responsible for the supervision and administration of the Electroneurophysiology department. Performs technical procedures utilizing Electroneurophysiology equipment for diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Acts as a liaison/coordinator with the educational institution and among departments/facilities.
The Electroneurophysiology Technologist Team Lead, in collaboration with the Health Services Manager, is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting the patient and workflow tracking system, ensuring patients testing is completed in a timely fashion and staff workload is balanced to achieve optimal quality and productivity.
The Electroneurophysiology Technologist Team Lead works closely with the Health Services Manager, professional practice coordinators, other managers, physicians, referrers and other stakeholders to ensure timely, coordinated quality care is provided to the patients and families and tests reports are being processed while meeting the criteria for quality and safety, timeliness and appropriateness.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Electroneurophysiology diploma
- Certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalograph Technologists (CBRET)
- Certification with the Board of Registration of Electromyography Technologists of Canada (BRETC)
- Three (3) years of recent relevant clinical experience required
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
- WHMIS Training
- Demonstrated skills and abilities to facilitate team building, conflict resolution and supportive group dynamics and morale
- Able to handle stressful situations in a timely, professional and responsible manner
- Demonstrate success in collaborating with others
- Have experience initiating and managing projects
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

- Permanent Full-time position, 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits
$37.86 - $48.51 Hourly
