Position Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled and analytical Temporary Business Analysts to join the MPC (Manufacturing Planning & Control) Business Analytics Team. These roles are essential to supporting the IFS Cutover Process and strengthening post-IFS infrastructure readiness. The successful candidates will play a key role in accelerating data development, migration, and integration efforts that enable business continuity and reporting excellence.
The ideal candidates will have a strong technical background in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric, along with a disciplined approach to documentation and data quality. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a critical enterprise transformation initiative in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & Integration
Develop, test, and optimize dataflows, pipelines, and data models to support reporting and analytics.
Integrate data from multiple sources, including IFS Cloud and Microsoft Fabric.
Automate and streamline recurring processes using Python, APIs, and scripting tools.
Analytics & Reporting
Design and build advanced Power BI dashboards to monitor operational performance and support decision-making using advanced DAX skills.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, data inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
Support data migration and validation activities throughout the IFS Cutover phase.
Documentation & Quality Assurance
Maintain detailed documentation for data structures, processes, and transformation logic.
Implement data validation procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities during and after migration.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within data workflows.
Stay informed on emerging tools and best practices in business analytics and data engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills:
Advanced SQL – strong query development and optimization experience.
Python – data manipulation, automation, and integration scripting.
Data Modeling – design and maintain efficient data structures for analytics.
Power BI (Advanced) – strong DAX, data modeling, and visualization skills.
Microsoft Fabric – experience with dataflows, pipelines, and notebooks.
Data Integration – building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
Documentation Discipline – clear, consistent technical documentation.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with IFS Cloud data structures and relationships.
Experience with API integrations and automation scripting.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Work Environment:
Temporary full-time contract positions (duration aligned with IFS Cutover timeline of minimum 6 months).
