We are looking for a Manager – Cross Border Tax to join our team—a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role:
Working closely with all Tax Partners and other Senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements
Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings
Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections and project budgets
Review assessments and correspond with the IRS, state authorities and CRA on various issues
Build and manage client relationships at a senior level; advise clients by delivering high quality tax service and advice
Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential
Supporting and mentoring firm staff in respect of tax matters
Identifying client service opportunities
What you bring to the table:
US and/or Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
Minimum of 5 year’s relevant work experience
Comprehensive understanding of the Canada-US Tax Treaty
Completion of the In-Depth Tax Program or Masters of Tax Program
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines
Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and develop team members
Proficiency in CaseWare, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office

Salary: $90,000 - $128,000
