We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as we are actively recruiting
for a Cold Header Machine Operator responsible for the machine setting and
production from a Cold Heading Machine. This process includes extruding and
forging weld caps. This position reports to the Cold Header Group Leader.

What we’re looking for
- Operate assigned production equipment at optimum efficiency
- Select, install, and adjust machine settings with appropriate dies and
tooling
- Perform tasks in a prescribed order of operation
- Check raw material for type, dimensions, and defects
- Load copper coils on and off the machine
- Closely monitor the machine’s operation to ensure parts are being produced to
meet quality standards and specifications
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect finished products visually and
dimensionally for accuracy and identify any defects after machine cycle
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and
replacing worn parts
What you need to succeed
- 2+ years previous assembly, manufacturing, or machining experience. Cold
Header Machine experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and
micrometers
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Must be organized with good attention to detail

Salary $25.00 hourly
