Sydney Duder Professor in Program Evaluation, Dr. Leslie Fierro, at the Max Bell School of Public Policy, is seeking two Research Assistants. The successful applicants will engage in several activities to help prepare for the launch of the 2026 Evaluation Capacity Case Challenge (EC3). Specific activities include: Responsibilities: Refining judging packet and scoring process Develop curriculum for incoming cohort Create orientation materials for incoming cohort Establish and organize a Google site for participants. Organize and establish Google drive or similar for coaches, mentors, and judges Participate in reviewing and scoring applications for potential 2026 participants Compile and organize existing materials in preparation for an evaluation of EC3 Qualifications: Masters degree Academic or practice-based experience in the field of education Academic or professional experience in evaluation and/or evaluation capacity building Prior participation in or experience designing experiential learning activities Time commitment (dates): October 29, 2025 – December 19, 2025 Hours per week: 8 hours/week Maximum number of hours for contract: 64 hours maximum Salary: $31.44/hr Not to exceed a total project budget of $2,012.16.
