General Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive the company’s growth for IFS software implementation projects. This role centers on identifying and securing new business opportunities with large clients, building strong industry networks, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. The position offers autonomy and requires a proactive approach to networking, client management, and solution selling.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business and manage the full sales cycle for IFS and other enterprise software implementation projects, working independently to build and grow a robust pipeline
Network extensively with executives, technology leaders, and large organizations, representing our firm at industry events, conferences, and online forums.
Prepare persuasive proposals, RFQs, and presentations tailored to Fortune 1000 prospects.
Collaborate with technical delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding and client satisfaction.
Utilize CRM tools for lead tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
Stay ahead of ERP/software industry trends and bring competitive insights to leadership.
Support and lead response to RFPs for high-value software transformation projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, enterprise software sales, or account management.
Successful track record selling implementations of IFS, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other large ERP platforms.
Proven ability to work autonomously and produce results in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding networking, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience managing C-level relationships and engaging large enterprise clients.
Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms and digital business tools.
Relevant certifications in IFS, SAP, PMP, or related areas are highly valued.
Demonstrated ability to manage and close multimillion-dollar deals.
