Job Description What is the opportunity ? Act as an advocate and strategic advisor for the most important Supplier solutions and requirements within each T&O Division’s Leadership Team or Strategic Initiatives. Develop trusted relationships with leaders across T&O to help improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of supplier solutions. Assist in creation of strategic views of T&O requirements, RBC incumbent suppliers and emerging suppliers in the marketplace. Enhance governance practices for our 30+ most critical vendors through improved critical supplier governance practices: delivery oversight and intervention supported by KPI and KRIs (eg. scorecard). Implement standardized governance (defining audience, frequency, levels of governance (LoB level) and roles/responsibilities in governance). Ensure 100% compliance with Supplier Lifecycle Management Provide insights and reporting on business strategy and strategic deal management initiatives – Pipeline and deal status of given Divisions and across T&O Working with the SMO leadership and fellow team members to create a “cross” T&O view of the requirements needed to be fulfilled by suppliers. Utilize and assist in maintenance of multiple technology categorization lenses, to inform comparative analysis (benchmarking) of all the available Suppliers onboarded in RBC or in the marketplace. In partnership with Procurement, Finance and the Division delivery leaders, participate and enable selected strategic deals. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: 5+ years proven Supplier Management and/ or Relationship Management experience Proven experience working across senior levels of the organization (SVP, VP) Very strong co-ordination/facilitation experience with large cross functional teams Exceptional communication skills Ability to synthesize and analyze information to prepare reports and presentations for all levels of management to enable decision making Critical thinking and strategic mindset Nice-to-have: Project Management or Procurement experience Understanding and knowledge of supplier management standards, methodologies, SRM playbook requirements & audit requirements (Third Party Risk) Working knowledge of technology based suppliers and their associated products or services University degree and postgraduate qualifications, or equivalent combination of education and Supplier Management/Relationship management/stakeholder management experience Exceptional business and financial acumen Metrics and performance management background including data management and analysis for executive view What is in it for you?
