Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
We are seeking a professional and organized Cleaning Supervisor for a fixed-term position in Petawawa, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning staff, assigning tasks and schedules
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
Prepare reports on cleaning operations and staff performance
Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and best practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Proficiency in creating and managing schedules
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the cleaning industry
Experience with inventory management and budget control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or equivalent; cleaning industry certifications preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Physical stamina to perform occasional cleaning tasks and equipment demonstrations
