Job Description
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, this permanent full-time position based in Calgary is an instrumental part of the North American People Services team. Working closely with the HR team and Managers/Business Partners, this role supports the full HR lifecycle across the business. The HR Analyst must be a team player with the ability to deliver superior customer service to all levels within the organization. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities. An accurate eye and a keen sense for data organization is key.
This position is based at the De Beers Calgary Support Centre located at the Calgary Airport Corporate Centre.
The schedule is currently a hybrid style consisting of two days in the office and three days at home.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
As part of the HR Connect Team, acting as first point of contact for employees and managers, responding to HR queries, problem solving, and triaging as necessary, while delivering excellent and timely customer service;
Performing HR administrative functions, including validating HR forms and drafting employment-related letters (e.g., offer, promotion, and change letters);
Coordinating onboarding activities, including preparing and presenting the weekly new hire orientation;
Inputting, verifying, and maintaining accurate employee data and documentation;
Conducting regular data validation and audits to ensure data integrity across all HR information systems; partnering on internal and external audits as required;
Facilitating benefit administration by guiding employees through the enrollment process and responding to benefit-related inquiries;
Preparing reports for HR team members, business managers, and third-party benefit providers;
Liaising effectively with employees, managers, and HR team members to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support cross-functional HR projects;
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and documenting relevant HR procedures.
Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources is required.
Two to three years of relevant HR experience is required; experience working in an HR shared services operating model is an asset.
Data entry experience into HR information systems is required; familiarity with SuccessFactors and/or Dayforce is considered an asset.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Team player with the ability to deliver quality customer service internally and externally.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data accurately, understand context and implications, and support sound decision-making.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A self-starter who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Must exercise sound judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
Occasional travel to remote sites is required.
