| What we are looking for
The Senior Business Analyst is a key member of the Industry Relations team, acting as a strategic enabler and providing essential support to all client-facing Leads and Managers across a range of client activities. In some instances, you will interact directly with our clients, as required. You will be the analytical and operational partner to our client-facing leads and managers, taking ownership of the systems and processes that drive our success. Your mission is to provide the leverage our team needs to focus on high-level strategy by driving process optimization, delivering data-driven insights, and championing the effectiveness of our core technologies, including our CRM. This is a unique blend of deep analysis, process ownership, and client-facing exposure, offering a clear path to making a tangible impact.
| A day in the life
Your responsibilities as the Senior Business Analyst, Industry Relations will include but are not limited to:
Strategic Account and Relationship Support
Provide general Relationship Management (RM) support, partnering with engagement leadership to co-develop strategic account plans and contribute to member strategy.
Engage directly with members and external stakeholders where required, acting as a key point of contact to support relationship management activities.
Orchestrate operational excellence by coordinating the flow of information across internal teams to ensure all client deliverables are met.
Provide foundational administrative and operational support by managing the end-to-end logistics for key stakeholder meetings, from scheduling to minute-taking.
Process and Data-Driven Optimization
Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities by mapping current engagement workflows, analyzing gaps, and designing optimized "to-be" solutions.
Drive data analysis by structuring information and delivering actionable insights from Google Sheets (e.g., Pivot Tables) and other tools to inform strategic decisions.
CRM and Technology Enablement
Manage strategic support systems, acting as the team's CRM superuser to ensure data integrity, support users, and generate effective reports.
Champion the use of modern tools, including AI, to accelerate research, enhance analysis, and improve the team's overall productivity.
Govern all team documentation by managing version control, file structures, and ensuring information is accurate, complete, and readily accessible.
Content & Engagement Development
Develop, build, and tailor high-impact, client-facing materials, including presentations, proposals, and reports that support our relationship managers.
| What you need to be successful
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in business analysis with demonstrated strength in data analysis, problem framing, and solution prototyping.
Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to leverage these tools for analysis, reporting, and collaboration.
Proven experience preparing customer facing materials and/or supporting Relationship Managers with day to day customer related activities.
Eligibility to successfully complete background checks that will be carried out by Payments Canada, including criminal, credit, identity, employment, and education checks.

| Salary range
Based on qualifications and experience: $93,637 to $117,046.
