The Education Engineering department is responsible for platforms and AI tools
that power MongoDB learning worldwide, including the documentation platform,
MongoDB University, and the MongoDB AI Assistant.
We’re seeking curious minds like yours to collaborate with full-time engineers
and cross functional teammates, deepen your software development knowledge, and
gain professional coding experience.
Software Engineering Interns within the Education engineering department are
fully integrated software engineers who spend the summer pushing
production-level code to make lasting contributions to MongoDB education
platforms. From making heavy duty educational websites to building on the latest
LLMs, we love finding new ways to delight and educate our users.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer
Science or a related field
- Have a foundation in web or full stack development and some experience with
TypeScript or React
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after
the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Fall
2027, or Spring 2028
- Must be authorized to work in Canada. Company sponsorship may be available
for eligible candidates applying for certain roles

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks
lasting from dates in June until August. All interns are considered hybrid
employees, designated the "in office" working model and are expected to be in
their office location 3-5 days a week.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the
time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such
as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part
of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for
eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock
purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral

$61,000—$85,000 CAD
