About the Role
The Treasury Manager will oversee treasury reporting, cash management, forecasting, financial risk management, investments, and banking administration. This role is critical in developing and implementing strategies to optimize liquidity, reduce financial risk, and ensure efficient allocation of resources to support the organization’s operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Cash & Liquidity Management – Oversee daily cash movements, foreign exchange, cross-border funding, and prepare short- and long-term cash forecasts.
Banking & Credit Facilities – Manage relationships with lenders, administer bank accounts and platforms, and ensure covenant compliance.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting – Prepare and review treasury-related reports, ensure IFRS compliance, and collaborate with finance teams on budgets and forecasts.
Investment Management – Optimize cash positions, support investment strategies, and evaluate opportunities aligned with corporate objectives and risk tolerance.
Risk Management – Identify and mitigate risks related to FX, interest rates, and credit exposure; execute and report on hedging instruments.
Compliance & Process Improvement – Ensure adherence to policies, strengthen internal controls, support audits, and drive continuous process improvements.
Strategic Planning Support – Provide financial insights and risk assessments to support long-term planning and executive decision-making.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
5+ years of treasury or senior finance experience (cash management, forecasting, banking, risk management, hedging).
Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or CFA designation.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Canadian and U.S. financial regulations, and tax frameworks.
Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, forecasting).
Experience with global banking platforms and corporate banking systems.
Familiarity with public company environments.
Nice-to-Have:
CTP designation.
Experience with Sage 300.
Hands-on treasury experience in a public-company setting.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
