This role leads IT strategy, architecture, and implementation of platforms and applications supporting retail operations, with a focus on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. What You’ll Do Develop and execute the IT strategy for retail merchandising solutions. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify innovation opportunities. Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies. Implement a robust service delivery model. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Integrate IT solutions into the broader retail service ecosystem. Lead a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals. Oversee the design and implementation of technology solutions. Manage the overall service delivery budget. Evaluate and select external vendors. Implement cybersecurity and data protection measures. Optimize cost management and improve processes. What You Bring Proven IT leadership experience in the retail sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of project delivery practices. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience. Preferable Skills & Experience Experience with complex merchandising solutions (e.g., planograms, price optimization, promotions). Knowledge of POS systems and omnichannel integration. Experience managing technology vendors. Familiarity with compliance and security standards in the retail sector. The incumbent will support internal and/or external clients outside of Quebec and/or in the United States on a daily basis. Therefore, this position requires proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
