Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for a Fire Services Technician to join our team in Moncton.
Summary
As a Fire Services Technician, you’ll play a key role in protecting our customers’ people, property, and operations. You’ll work hands-on with a wide range of fire and life safety systems, ensuring they’re inspected, maintained, and repaired to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Inspect, maintain, and service vehicle fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and other fire and life safety equipment.
Provide in-house and mobile service to meet customer needs efficiently.
Coordinate with the service team to schedule work, manage inventory, and maintain documentation in line with ISO and company safety standards.
Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and certifications to ensure readiness and compliance.
Respond to after-hours service calls as needed and assist with related duties that support the team and business goals.
Conduct life safety inspections and training for customers, representing Levitt-Safety with professionalism and expertise.
You’ll also conduct life safety inspections and audits, provide site-specific training for owners and end-users, and act as the face of Levitt-Safety - delivering trusted expertise and exceptional service to every customer.

Qualifications
Experience in a mechanical shop or similar hands-on role with vehicles or motorized equipment.
Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude; skilled with hand and power tools.
Experience or training in fire protection/suppression systems is a strong asset.
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
Strong customer service, communication, and tech-savvy skills
Physical Safety Requirements
This is a physically demanding, safety-sensitive role. You must be able to:
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and work comfortably in confined spaces or at heights.
Pass pre-employment and periodic drug/alcohol tests and background checks.
You’ll contribute to our strong safety culture by actively participating in safety meetings, modeling safe work practices, and supporting continuous improvement in service and safety performance.
