Alta Material Handling is seeking a full-time Sales Coordinator for our Dorval, QC location. Reporting to the Corporate Rental Manager, the successful candidate would be responsible for managing customer orders throughout the entire order process while working with all departments to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Order equipment from the OEM as required to complete customer order
Request approved discount reimbursement from the Manufacturer
Monthly emails to brokerage house on list of equipment to be received (new or used)
Communication between Sales Representatives and Vendors as to order placement, specifications, scheduled delivery, etc.
Entering equipment (new or used) received in SILK operating system, and maintain inventory
Receiving all purchase orders issued for equipment ordered through our SILK operating system and processing all supplier invoices and pass to the AP department to process
Enter Data in our Operating System relevant information as required i.e., equipment description, model type and year, equipment options, warranty type, etc.
Continually communicate with Sales reps and customers either verbally or through emails in regard to their order status
Create work orders for PDI/modifications.
Prioritize work orders to the service department for preparation of equipment, as well as follow ups with Service Department to ensure we maintain delivery schedule
Review work orders to ensure billed hours are within agreed upon cost per sales worksheet
Arrange delivery by coordinating the equipment delivery dates with shipping, the customer and Sales reps
Create shipping document and ensuring it contains all relevant information to instruct Shipping department
Process customer sales invoice according to signed customer sales agreement
Once equipment is shipped, ensuring that we keep our filing system updated and maintained at all times
Create and forward equipment files to the rental department to initiate the customer rental contract
Assist Manufacturer’s yearly audit by preparing files requested and ensuring all information required is in each file
Process National accounts sales in our Sales Territory for the Manufacturer
Self-motivated to complete all tasks with accuracy and accountability
Qualifications:
Bilingual French and English (mandatory)
Experience in material handling environment would be an asset
Must be capable of interacting with customers effectively while working through inquiries and issues.
Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and above average problem-solving skills
Demonstrated organizational skills and be able to work independently with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
