Position FULL TIME FILE MAINTENANCE CLERK (Agro Branches)

Responsibilities
Responsible to provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service to all customers. This includes responding to general inquiries regarding store agro promotions, bulletins, and updates to promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
Inspect all received goods to ensure the quality and completeness of the order, and when required order and receive products. Maintain shelf and display stock and organize all goods intended for sale to meet established standards. Update and maintain an accurate and proper markdown report for the locations
Coordinate and take point on all inventory counts for the locations. This includes making inventory count sheets and schedules while working in collaboration with on-site managers and Admin to ensure that all counts are done properly and in compliance with our audit requirements.
May process customer orders and purchases using the point-of-sale terminal to meet established productivity and service standards. Packaging products and completing cash reconciliations may be required. Drive trucks and assist with customer deliveries and product transfer from and to other locations.
Implement price changes at store level, provide maintenance of in-store signage and shelf labels, keep price files up to date and organized, maintain customer and vendor master files. Co-ordinate maintenance of hardware equipment and software programs.
Perform all other TRONIA operating system file maintenance functions in co-operation with other team members, site managers, and Accountant.
Adhere to company loss prevention, security and safety policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A strong background in the Ag industry and experience in customer service.
Able to work a variety of shifts.
Strong computer skills.
A pleasant and out-going personality.
A desire and ability to work with the public.
Physically able to do heavy lifting, climbing & kneeling up to 50 pounds.
Minimum two years of computer experience in a business setting. Database knowledge required.
Applicant must have a valid Class 5 or higher driver’s license and provide drivers abstract. Prior forklift experience an asset, but will train.
Willingness to further knowledge through training.
Successfully pass pre-employment testing as per Southland’s Alcohol & Substance Policy.
