Internships @ Wealthsimple
At Wealthsimple, we offer 4 to 8-month internships that are open to co-op and
non-co-op students, and recent grads. During your internship, you will have the
opportunity to contribute to projects that are changing the landscape of
financial services for Canadians. You will be on a team that supports your
growth, provides mentorship, and connects you to the broader Wealthsimple
community!
Our internship program follows a hybrid work model, where you’ll be working from
our Toronto headquarters on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This structure offers the
flexibility of remote work, while also providing the collaboration, connection,
and mentorship that come from being together in person.
Eligibility
✔ Currently enrolled as a student at a Canadian post-secondary institution or
technical bootcamp
✔ New graduates - Within 6 months of your graduation date
✔ Available to work full-time hours
✔ Residing in Canada
✔ Able to commute to our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Talent Acquisition Team
At Wealthsimple, we believe that Talent Acquisition’s job is to own the delivery
of hiring needs by identifying and engaging top talent who align to our values,
using data-driven recruitment strategies and a deep understanding of the company
goals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Gain exposure to the end-to-end recruitment process — from intakes to
sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, selection, and offers
- Learn how to design and deliver on practical recruitment strategies, that are
collaborative and optimized for speed and quality
- Develop detailed documentation that makes our recruitment strategy more
efficient and scalable
- Actively contribute to refining and improving existing recruitment processes
- Work with our Coordination team to learn how to deliver a high-quality and
consistent candidate and interviewer experience
- Work with our Early Talent team to build intern-programming that will deliver
on an amazing employee experience and foster long-term growth
- Learn the ins and outs of our recruiting tools and resources
What you'll bring:
- An interest in building a career in Talent Acquisition or People Operations
- Curiosity and a thirst for learning; you dig deep into any problem you
encounter!
- A “ship it” mentality with a bias for action. We don't believe in spending
forever analyzing and debating. The best way to validate something is to ship
it — so let's ship it, learn, and iterate.
- A proven track record of establishing strong partnerships with others skills
- Basic analytical skills to manipulate data and draw meaningful insights from
it
- You have a keen eye for detail. From scheduling within our internal systems
to candidate communications, you ensure all tasks are executed flawlessly.
- You thrive in team environments and enjoy building strong partnerships with
colleagues across functions.
