Reporting to the Finance Operations and Quality Assurance Manager, the incumbent administers and processes disbursement grant applications and payments to TH Citizens. The incumbent manages a high volume of correspondence and must process numerous applications in a timely manner.
An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

Essential Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 (or equivalent) and a diploma or certification in finance or business management, with a minimum of one year of experience in financial administration or working in an accounting office; an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); basic knowledge or experience with Sage Intacct or a similar accounting system is an asset.
Experience with data entry and processing detailed applications for payment.
Basic knowledge or experience in financial procedures, processes and budgeting.
Experience with records management.
Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills, with an ability to prioritize competing demands.
Ability to effectively manage sensitive or confidential information.
Good professional and personal ethical standards: honest, trustworthy and respectful.
