Job Description: Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) QA team. This role is critical to enhancing our automation capabilities, improving test coverage, and accelerating release cycles. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvements in software quality and delivery. Key Responsibilities Automation Strategy & Execution Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Playwright and jMeter. Execute automated tests for system functionality, integration, regression, and performance. Analyze test results and collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve system reliability. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery. Quality Assurance Processes Define and enforce QA automation standards and best practices. Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure testability of requirements. Maintain test data and environments to support automated testing efforts. Document and report test results, defect metrics, and automation coverage. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to expand automation coverage and reduce manual testing overhead. Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance automation capabilities. Mentor junior QA team members in automation practices and tools. Stay current with industry trends in QA automation and apply relevant innovations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in software test automation. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#) and automation tools (e.g., Playwright). Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail). Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile/DevOps practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Experience with EAM systems such as IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, or Infor EAM. Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques. Exposure to cloud-based applications and mobile testing. Knowledge of regulatory compliance in asset-intensive industries.
