We're looking for a skilled and physically capable Tech 3.2 Sawyer to join our production team. This is a highly physical, hands-on role that requires strength, endurance, and attention to detail. This position deals with precision cutting operations and material preparation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing:
Operating industrial saws and cutting equipment with precision and safety
Measuring, marking, and cutting materials to exact specifications
Handling and move heavy materials throughout the production process
Maintaining cutting equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
Inspecting cut materials for quality and accuracy
Following all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Working collaboratively with production team to meet daily targets
Maintaining accurate production records and documentation
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials regularly
Stand for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
Perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, and lifting
Work in various environmental conditions including temperature variations
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work at a sustained pace in a physically demanding environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience with industrial cutting equipment preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
