Job Description What is the opportunity? Reporting to the Senior Manager, STP Governance and Controls. This position will support building operational efficiencies by leveraging technology tools and systems such as Python, Tableau and FETCH. This position will support both the Governance and Policy teams by designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven solutions to enhance oversight, compliance and reporting. What will you do? Design, develop, test, and implement automated solutions leveraging Python and/or other open-source programming languages. Collaborate across the Governance and Policy team to identify automation opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency. Coordinate, facilitate and be a key resource in developing the technological capabilities for execution of enterprise wide STP projects. Assist with developing legal entity reporting for Transfer Pricing transactions. Aid with key process improvement initiatives for STP to drive business value and generate efficiencies. Help with ad hoc projects. What do you need to succeed? Must have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Equivalent Diploma in other Technical related disciplines 2+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst - requirements planning, data mapping, analysis use case development and documentation. Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of coding in programming languages such as Python for quantitative analysis and data mining. Ability to work independently and manage numerous priorities simultaneously in an organized manner. Nice-to-have: Experience with analyzing large datasets for trends, anomalies, and risk indicators. Experience creating process documents. Critical thinking to approach problems methodically and devise data-driven solutions. Experience in designing, building, testing automation frameworks. Knowledge of RBC financial reporting systems and technology tools such as Oracle and Tableau What’s in it for you?
