About the Role
We are seeking a motivated co-op student/intern to support our Director of Regulatory Affairs. This role offers hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, product dossiers, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate is curious about applying scientific knowledge to real-world regulatory requirements rather than laboratory bench work. This is a 16-week hybrid position based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, beginning in early January 2026. It is open to students enrolled in a registered co-op program or individuals seeking an internship opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
The main responsibilities of this position include:
Assist in compiling and reviewing technical and test information for product dossiers.
Support the preparation of certificates required for registrations (e.g., Quality Certificates, Free Sale Certificates, Health Certificates).
Collaborate with regulatory consultants to clarify technical information needed for submissions.
Contribute to technical aspects of product reviews, regulatory compliance, and document management.
Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure documentation aligns with regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Science-related program (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science).
Interest in regulatory affairs and applying scientific knowledge to compliance and documentation.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external consultants.
