About the Role
We are seeking a motivated co-op student/intern to support our Quality team. This role will provide hands-on experience in document control, quality systems, and customer and supplier documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how a global company maintains quality and compliance across its operations.
This is a 16-week hybrid position based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, beginning in early January 2026. It is open to students enrolled in a registered co-op program or individuals seeking an internship opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
The main responsibilities of this position include:
Support the structuring and organization of Mara’s Document Control Process.
Assist in documenting company processes, including product release, supplier and customer complaints, and supplier management.
Create Certificate of Analysis for batches to be shipped
Help create and maintain customer documentation, including quality statements and questionnaires.
Support specific projects, such as compiling data and creating documents.
Collaborate with internal quality teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Science or Quality-related program (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences or similar).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Interest in quality management systems, compliance, and document control.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Good communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
