The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with our customers, office administrators, sales, operations supervisors and management team across 2 branches to facilitate the safe, orderly and efficient service to our customer base on a daily basis. This role will place a high priority on exceptional levels of customer service and sales support, with a primary focus on transportation and disposal of waste within Southwestern Ontario. Key Responsibilities: Perform work in a safe manner, so as not to endanger oneself or others Direct communication with customers: incoming calls, texts, and emails Schedule transportation and disposal related services, based on customer needs and availability of personnel and equipment Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pickup problems before they result in service issues Receiving service requests and answering waste-related questions Assisting with quotes, bids and pricing templates Creating and processing work orders, waste profiles and customer service agreements Obtaining intercompany pricing, approvals and coordination of scheduling and operational needs to ensure the efficient movement of waste shipments from customer sites to approved receiving facilities. Assisting with RPRA and ensuring all rules and regulations are followed, at all times. Tracking shipments and assisting with the coordination of large projects Follow all established organizational policies and procedures. Support the vision and values of the organization. Participate in team/staff meetings when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Key Competencies: Ability to maintain high levels of customer service and problem solving Able to work independently as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment Previous experience with Regulation 347, TDG and RPRA requirements Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal skills Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace Analytically oriented with a keen attention to detail Must be able to learn new applications quickly and efficiently #GFLTALENT We thank you for your interest.
