About the Opportunity
Looking to take the next step in your construction or plumbing career? Knight Plumbing and Heating is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Residential Plumbing Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our Calgary team.
In this role, you’ll support the full project lifecycle — from estimating and quoting through to project coordination and completion — on residential and multi-family plumbing projects. You’ll work closely with builders, suppliers, and our internal teams to ensure every project runs smoothly, efficiently, and on budget.

What You’ll Do
Estimating & Quoting
Review blueprints, drawings, and specs for new residential and multi-family builds.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and bids for plumbing systems and installations.
Work with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm material pricing and lead times.
Maintain pricing databases and ensure accurate, competitive proposals.
Project Coordination
Assist Project Managers with daily scheduling, procurement, and documentation.
Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Support cost tracking and ensure clear communication between office and field teams.
Participate in site meetings and help resolve on-site coordination issues.
Contribute to project closeout and lessons-learned documentation.
Risk, Quality & Compliance
Verify that all estimates and installations meet plumbing codes and builder specifications.
Support quality control, scheduling, and project compliance standards.
What You Bring
2–5 years’ experience in estimating, coordination, or project management in residential or light commercial construction.
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and construction processes.
Experience reading blueprints and construction documentation.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or estimating software is an asset.
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
