The Director of Product will lead NorthStar Utilities’ product management function, driving clarity, alignment, and measurable impact across our product portfolio. This role bridges strategy and execution—ensuring our teams are building the right products, in the right order, for the right reasons. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Alignment: Manage the product management group and establish clear ownership, accountability, and alignment with organizational strategy. Strategic Execution: Translate executive vision into actionable product goals, track and report progress toward milestones, and ensure visibility across stakeholders. Product Direction: Research and champion new product opportunities—both strategic and tactical—based on market trends, customer feedback, and technology shifts. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers and partners to deeply understand their needs and ensure our roadmap delivers real value. Measurement & Reporting: Implement processes and metrics to assess progress, performance, and product health across teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Sales, Support, and Professional Services to align priorities and ensure consistent delivery. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in product management or product leadership roles (preferably in enterprise software or utilities sector). Strong strategic planning and execution skills. Proven ability to lead high-performing teams through organizational change and growth. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with customer engagement, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy. Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs for product success.
