New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Meat/Produce Team Member at our Food Store in Hythe, Alberta.

What you’ll do:
Provide excellent customer service by offering friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient assistance in both the Meat and Produce departments
Wrap, label, price, and package fresh meats for display and sale
Stock, rotate, and maintain produce to ensure freshness, quality, and proper presentation
Build and maintain attractive, organized displays in both departments
Ensure all products are accurately priced, properly labeled, and meet food safety and sanitation standards
Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and selection
Support merchandising initiatives, special sales, and seasonal promotions
Maintain the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness while ensuring all Food Safety guidelines, procedures and requirements are always adhered to
Perform additional duties as required

Who you are:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Enthusiastic approach to work
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Able to work independently and in a team
Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required
Comfortable working in cold environments
Availability to work on a very flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
