About the team you are joining
The OSS Quality Management team ensures a high level of integrity and quality for internal and external stakeholders of IATA’s safety audit programs. We support data-driven decision-making through robust performance monitoring and analytics.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Quality Performance and Risk, the Assistant Manager, Quality Data and Analytics will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the OSS Quality Management team. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing performance dashboards, responding to research and data requests, collecting and documenting business requirements, and supporting data presentation needs across the team.
This role requires close collaboration with the Audit Programs and Global Aviation Data Management (GADM) teams and a proactive, analytical mindset to translate complex data into actionable insights.
What your day would be like
You will support the Quality Management team by:
Managing and maintaining performance dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, relevance, and accessibility for internal stakeholders.
Responding to ad hoc research and data analysis requests, providing clear and timely insights.
Collecting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for new or enhanced dashboards and data tools.
Collaborating with internal teams to design and implement effective data collection and visualization solutions.
Ensuring data presentation tools are up to date and accessible to authorized users.
Supporting audit planning and quality risk identification through data analysis from multiple sources.
Coordinating with the Quality Management team and GADM to align data needs and ensure consistency with data model specifications.
Assisting other Quality functions, including Quality Assurance and Customer Support, with data-related tasks and presentations.
We would love to hear from you if
Solid understanding of aviation operations and quality assurance principles; familiarity with IOSA or other IATA Safety Programs is an asset.
Proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools, especially Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies.
Excellent communication and documentation skills to articulate requirements and findings clearly.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Fluent in spoken and written English; capable of producing comprehensive reports and summaries.
