Finance Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will bridge the gap between finance, systems, and data—helping us better understand, connect, and leverage financial and operational data across the organization.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering insights from complex data, loves improving data flows and system integrations, and enjoys collaborating across departments to strengthen decision-making. You’ll play a key role in building scalable reporting systems, optimizing financial data pipelines, and driving automation within our ERP and CRM environments.
Key Responsibilities
Data and Systems Integration
• Serve as a liaison between Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure financial data accuracy across systems (ERP, CRM, and business intelligence platforms).
• Map and optimize data flows between NetSuite, Salesforce/HubSpot, and other operational systems.
• Support the design and maintenance of data integrations, ensuring consistency and reliability of key financial and customer metrics.
• Collaborate with IT to implement system enhancements, improve automation, and validate data integrity across platforms.
Reporting and Analytics
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and profitability across business units and recommend improvements based on data findings.
• Support ad hoc and recurring data analysis projects, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent reporting.
Forecasting and Decision Support
• Support the Finance Manager and CFO to enhance forecasting models and data-driven planning tools.
• Use data analytics to support pricing, performance tracking, and operational decision-making.
• Contribute to scenario planning and data modelling related to growth and acquisition opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
• Previous experience in Finance, Business Analysis, or Data Analytics roles—preferably within a multi-entity or digital-first organization is considered an asset.
• Strong technical skills in data analysis, visualization, and reporting (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Understanding of data and financial principles.
• Proven ability to map, document, and improve complex processes and data flows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

This is an in-office position based in Midland, Ontario.
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime may be required.
