We are looking to hire a Warehouse Worker for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will ensure all warehouse operations including but not limited to, weighing the waste off the trucks and sorting as required, palettizing weighed waste, helping with monthly inventory counts, constructing supply kits for drivers, loading and unloading of trucks. This position requires high stamina, as there is a lot of walking and lifting involved. The ideal candidate will be someone who shows up everyday, as this position is vital.

What will your job involve?
Receiving and processing of the various waste streams.
Scans waste into Route Optics for proper record keeping purposes.
Ensures that all waste is properly processed and/or stored in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Ensures an adequate supply of clean reusable bins and totes are readily available for logistics purposes.
Receive incoming shipments and preparing outbound shipments.
Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking
Dumping Waste
Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas
Ensure that material storage areas are kept organized and clean
Perform forklift inspection at shift start or before first use and report any damage immediately
Ensures housekeeping issues, e.g., spills cleaned up, floor is dry, and debris not on floor, etc., are addressed immediately.
Performs additional duties and assists in other areas of the plant operation as directed by Operations Supervisor
