Job Summary
The Intern, Corporate Communications is responsible for assisting in the delivery of CN communications tactics at CN. The incumbent acts as a key resource for the team by supporting the coordination and execution of of corporate communications campaigns, change management and other engagement activities. The intern will interact with the broader Stakeholder Relations team to roll out engagement and communications activities – both internal and external. The intern assists in the day-to-day delivery of tracking projects. The intern will also help with day-to-day requests related to organization of communications assets and process documentation for the corporate communications team.
Major Responsibilities
· Improve internal / external safety awareness and culture for safety related campaigns
· Support employee and HR communications to improve engagement and employee experience
· Develop efficient ways to maintain communications files/assets and documentation.
Requirements
· Strong project management skills
· Collaborates with key stakeholders to enable higher productivity planning and organization
· Deadline focused and results oriented
· Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Regularly identifies opportunities to create value and customer loyalty
Education
· Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
