What you will do
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources while working as a consultative partner, you will provide client-focused strategic and operational human resources services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
recruiting and supporting talent acquisition;
guiding and supporting on labor relations, grievance management, and disability management;
interpreting collective agreements, policies and procedures;
supporting performance management;
conducting job evaluations and providing classification services; and
other programs and special projects as assigned.
Work environment:
Office location: Moncton, 46 Toombs Street, and Fredericton, 440 King Street. Please indicate the locations you wish to be considered for.
Standard hours of work: Monday – Friday.

Some travel within the province will be required.

Essential Qualifications:
Pay Band 4:
A university bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of four (4) years of related human resources experience OR a two (2) year post-secondary diploma in a related field with a minimum of (6) years related human resources experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Some positions require written and spoken competence in English and in French. Others will require written and spoken competence in English only. Please state your language capacity.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate the following assets:
working in a unionized environment;
experience working in a public sector environment;
CPHR designation (Certified Human Resources Professional);
experience in employee/labour relations;
experience in Hay Job Evaluation Methodology.

SALARY:
Pay Band 4: $2,249.00 to $3,145.00 bi-weekly, based on 36.25 hours per week.
