HOURLY RATE- $21.43 FULL TIME HOURS Overnight shifts December- March 12-hour shifts WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Groomer I is an entry level slope grooming position. This position is responsible for using groomer equipment and techniques that are essential to maintaining ski and snowboard terrain at Blue Mountain Resort on time and to the highest standards. Groom primarily green and blue runs and at times assist Groomer Operators – II, Team Leads and Managers on Duty with more difficult terrain and builds Perform pre shift circle checks and paperwork - post shift duties including housekeeping duties and mandatory paperwork Recognize and report equipment issues and property damage Work with a GPS system to improve decision making and increase efficiency Recognize and report or repair potential safety issues including but not limited to lighting, signage, padding and/or poor skiing/snowboarding surfaces Maintain a good working relationships and open communication with Snowmaking, Slope Maintenance, Patrol, Lifts, Terrain Park, Events and other on-hill staff WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
