The Senior Advisor, Research P&A will work with the Research Vice President, Research Administrative Directors and their management teams and with the research studies Project Director/Manager (PD/PM) and Investigator (PI) to achieve and maintain effective financial management, control and strategic planning while working within the corporate policies and procedures of HHS.
Accreditation as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified General
Accountant (CGA) or comparable Investment Designation
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with budgeting
Proven ability to analyze research, manage and work independently
Intermediate or better computer skills in the use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
Not-for-Profit Organization experience an asset
