What you’ll do:
Our Precision Ag Specialists ensure that growers are getting the most out of their equipment and digital tools in order to maximize output. You will work with growers and displays to ensure that specifications on equipment are set to optimize performance and that data collection is accurate. You will be tasked with supporting customers in the field and during the off-season with long-term learning and quick troubleshooting consultations. This role consists of:
Providing high level, in-depth, equipment support leveraging John Deere digital tools
Recognizing the value of the insights gathered through working with growers and other partners to come up with new innovative solutions in agriculture
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders within the industry to support the continued adoption of precision tools within the industry
Maintaining a high level of efficiency and knowledge, you will keep up to date with the advancing technologies within the industry
A flexible work arrangement that may have you working within a physical location or in the field
Supporting the sales department with customer demos, customer clinics and all-around education in new technologies
Supporting the promotion, adoption and continued utilization of digital and precision tools
What you bring:
Experience with agriculture equipment
Working understanding of digital tools available to growers
Knowledge of John Deere Operations Centre would be considered an asset
Possess a high level of understanding of regional equipment opportunities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills and adopt new technologies
Ability to take advanced concepts and explain them in an easily understood way
Comfort speaking in front of a group
