Purpose of the job
Under the supervision of the Vice-President, Information Technology, the incumbent will be responsible for the evolution and maintenance of application technology solutions as well as integrations between systems. He.she is also in charge of the technological portion of artificial intelligence and compliance, in addition to ensuring consistency in the solution architecture. In addition to supervising his.her teams, he.she will work closely with the managers of the IT department, business units and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, develop and evolve application solutions based on business requirements, security and compliance, growth and the company's strategic plan;
Coach, manage and develop your team and IT partners associated with application deployment, support and continuous improvement of business solutions and integrations, based on business needs and business growth;
Supervise, manage and develop a team of application, integration and artificial intelligence developers, always in line with the company's business needs;
Ensure the use of the company’s solutions/applications to their full potential by all stakeholders, while ensuring their compliance;
Motivate, guide, evaluate, coach and develop the skills and potential of your team members by acting as a leader within the team, sharing your vision with your employees to ensure their contribution to the company's success. Participate in recruiting for your team;
Manage means and resources and ensure their efficiency: human, technical and financial;
Anticipate changes imposed by company strategy, laws or system limitations for the company's overall operations;
Contribute to the assessment, prioritization and management of IT requests and initiatives, and collaborate with IT managers and other departments of the company depending on the context of activities;
Negotiate and maintain relationships with various business partners and ensure that their contributions respect the needs and values of the company;
Review IT contracts and ensure compliance;
Support project management with internal and external teams while controlling the overall consistency of IT projects;
Participate in and establish the vision, guidelines and objectives of the company's technology, cybersecurity, IT compliance, applications and development objectives;
Prepare and maintain operational and IT project budgets. Evaluate performance, cost control for all initiatives and portfolio;
Contribute to a technological watch in order to provide innovative solutions/applications that can help the growth of the company.

Requirements
At least ten years of experience in IT as a manager, ideally in the retail field;
Bilingualism, written and spoken - English and French (The person will have to deal with partners outside Quebec);
Excellent track record in managing an IT team and external partners;
Excellent knowledge of information technology, IT architecture options, commercially available solutions and business processes associated with applications;
Demonstrated skills in project management and human, technical and financial resources management;
Have a visionary mindset and established skills as a team leader;
Have a good work methodology, be autonomous and have rigor;
Negotiation skills and ability to manage a budget;
Ability to analyze, solve problems creatively and demonstrate effective decision-making;
Curiosity about new technologies.
