We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Assistant Vice-President, GRS Business Enablement to join our Group Retirement Services (GRS) leadership team. Reporting directly to the Vice President, GRS, this pivotal role serves as the primary liaison between the business unit and technology partners, ensuring seamless integration of digital solutions that drive business outcomes.
As a trusted enabler of transformation, the AVP will lead the development and execution of technology strategies that align with GRS’s business objectives. This includes delivering innovative experiences for plan members and sponsors, ensuring operational readiness, and fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement.
What you will do:
Strategic Delivery Leadership
Translate enterprise and business unit strategies into actionable delivery roadmaps.
Champion initiatives that drive digital transformation and elevate client-centric outcomes
Digital Transformation Enablement
Spearhead modernization of platforms, processes, and experiences to accelerate the shift toward digital-first solutions
Portfolio & Program Oversight
Lead a portfolio of strategic programs, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and measurable impact across digital, operational, and client experience domains
Cross-Functional Integration
Act as a strategic connector across product, technology, operations, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and remove execution barriers
Agile & Scalable Delivery Models
Promote and evolve agile and hybrid delivery frameworks to enhance speed-to-market, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration
Change Leadership & Culture Transformation
Drive change management initiatives that embed a digital-first mindset, foster innovation, and build organizational readiness for transformation
Governance & Prioritization
Lead governance processes to evaluate, prioritize, and monitor initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, risk mitigation, and optimal resource allocation
Performance Measurement & Insights
Establish and oversee KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track progress, generate actionable insights, and support executive decision-making
Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders to foster transparency, alignment, and shared accountability
Talent Management
Build and lead a high-performing team of delivery professionals. Drive talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning
What you will bring:
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services, insurance, or a related industry, with a proven focus on business transformation, digital delivery, and operational enablement
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a strong asset
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including platform modernization, agile adoption, and customer experience innovation
Deep expertise in delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) and their application within complex, matrixed organizations
Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred
Strong understanding of cloud technologies, AI applications, modern architectures, DevOps practices, and financial acumen
The base salary for this position is between $123,300 - $226,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
