Job Summary: The Operations Supervisor implements, maintains, and administers all activities related to the successful operations of the assigned Distribution Center.
Work Environment:
The physical environment requires the employee to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Required to work at heights of 50 feet or more.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Logistics, or related field
5 + years' experience in Customer Service and/or Distribution
5 + years of demonstrated leadership experience
How You Will Help
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and leadership, training, coaching, and feedback to the assigned distribution center
Oversee the training and education of all new personnel on RASCO products, operational systems, and company policies
Uphold the Reliable Safety Program as outlined by the Human Resources Department and Director of Operations
Monitor and maintain costs within the budget constraints as outlined in the warehouse budget
Implement the Material Management Program through the forecasting and ordering of required products which includes the accomplishment of the required material turns and the control of slow-moving product
Review and approve time sheets, expense reports, and other weekly progress reports
Organize, maintain, and review all MTO orders, backorders, or other special customer requests
Responsible for the control of all working funds and petty cash distributions.
Conduct weekly coordination meetings with staff to discuss operational issues, goal accomplishment, and customer service performance
Manage the customer service department to ensure Reliable customers receive professional outstanding service which includes the minimizing of shortages, status of backorders, and the expeditious resolution of customer problems
Review Customer Service Performance Reports, pricing and freight credits, and all inventory adjustments
Manage daily delivery schedules and freight vendors
Maintain all warehouse activities to include; order processing, receiving, put away, checking, shipping, and returns
Operate a forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment
Check shipping supplies which include pallets, boxes, packaging material, tape, labels, & Zebra printer ribbons
Maintain system component ordering schedules and ensures orders are processed
Maintain building security
Ensure cycle counts are completed and accurate
Follow up on weekly and monthly reporting regarding shipping speed, productivity, customer service, ISW, etc.
Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.

What You Will Bring
Skills:
Knowledge of Warehouse Operations and Customer Service
Working knowledge of Human Resources, payroll, and administrative processes
Demonstrates an understanding of freight and delivery processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AS400, WMS, CRM, and Dayforce
Physical Demands:
Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basis
The person in this position needs to wear appropriate safety clothing and shoes when needed. This includes a need for a safety harness, safety glasses, lift belts and steel toe shoes etc.
Ability to safely drive a forklift and operate lift trucks, side loaders, pickers, pallet trucks, and other loading/stacking equipment
Must be able to stand for 50% of the time
Occasionally will be expected to lift large materials not to exceed 40 pounds
