We are looking for someone with a strong interest in surgery, hoping to add alternative modalities to their repertoire of conventional medical skills. New grads welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications: Have completed the required Registered Veterinary Technician Program Interest in alternative modalities preferred Have critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot (anesthesia machines, monitoring equipment, etc.) Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values. Be confident in your ability to place peripheral intravenous catheters and perform venipuncture for blood collections. Be confident in your ability to perform drug calculations and nutritional calculations. Perform basic physical exams by accurately counting heart/pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort.
