Our client is a MedTech startup developing an AI-powered MR surgical navigator that will allow surgeons to quickly generate 3D models from a patient’s diagnostic imaging scans. This immersive mixed-reality technology will be used for education, diagnosis and treatment planning.
In order to accelerate the development of their solution, they are looking for a Backend Developer with experience in server-side languages, cloud services and database technology to develop and maintain the backend for the XR medical communication SaaS solution.
Your tasks
Design, develop, and maintain scalable serverless applications using Node.js and AWS Lambda, building and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices with AWS API Gateway.
Implement AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS for data storage, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using GitHub Actions.
Work closely with the Frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Maintain and enhance system infrastructure to support functionality
Your profile
Experience in backend development with Node.js and Typescript
Experience with AWS API Gateway and AWS Lambda for serverless architecture, and development tools such as Git, Swagger.
Experience with AWS RDS for relational databases, DynamoDB for NoSQL, S3 for object storage.
Experience in ORMs (Object-relational mapping) like Prisma, Sequelize or TypeORM for database management.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress
Fluent in English is mandatory, bilingual ideally
Assets:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Experience in database design (UML, diagramming tools)
Experience with AWS SNS and SQS for messaging and event-driven architectures.
