Saint John Energy is inviting applications for the role of "Project Manager" until 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Saint John Energy is seeking a Project Manager who combines strong project delivery and stakeholder leadership with hands-on business analysis expertise.
The Project Manager will lead operational and technology-enabled initiatives, including projects related to consumer programs, DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems), forecasting and analytics, and digital modernization. These projects are central to Saint John Energy’s digital transformation and Net Zero roadmap, enabling greater efficiency, insight, and customer engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating business needs into actionable project plans and technical solutions - someone who is equally comfortable leading execution as they are clarifying requirements and processes.
Duties
Support the Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles of Saint John Energy.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of operational and technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and customer outcomes.
Apply strong business analysis skills to elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs.
Facilitate workshops and working sessions to clarify scope, confirm business processes, and validate solution design.
Develop and maintain project documentation including charters, schedules, risks, budgets, and status reports.
Collaborate with business, data, and technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible, well-designed, and thoroughly tested.
Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
Support business process improvements that enhance efficiency, clarity, and consistency across teams.
Communicate regularly with sponsors and leadership to provide clear updates, manage expectations, and support decision-making.
Contribute to continuous improvement of project management and business analysis practices
Perform other duties as required.
Employment Requirements:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
4–6 years of experience managing or supporting technology and operational projects
Demonstrated ability to elicit, document, and translate complex business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or hybrid).
Experience in areas such as DERMS, customer programs, data analytics, forecasting, or digital modernization is an asset.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development (e.g., PMP, CBAP, or equivalent certifications).
Knowledge of Utilities, Public Procurement & sustainability requirements would be an asset
