Position Summary
The Rental Coordinator position is primarily responsible for managing the rental process and may provide assistance to the service department depending on Branch needs.
This position description is intended to capture the core responsibilities specific job tasks may vary slightly from branch to branch based on the organization structure and business needs of the area.
Specific Accountabilities
Manage the rental process from beginning to end for the branch
Prepare rental agreements for customers
Process pre-approvals and credit checks
Arrange for Work orders as required
Process the monthly rental billings
Process the billing for hourly rentals
Shipping of rental trucks
Qualifications
Education & Work Experience
High school completion or equivalent education proficiency and/or 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative office position.
Competencies and Skills
Excellent verbal communications skills
Proven planning and organizing skills
Proficient with MS Excel
Ability to handle multiple tasks, process large volumes, work well under pressure
Customer service oriented and a team player
Maintain accurate records
Well-developed communication skills both written and oral
Establish cooperative-working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Working Conditions
The Rental Coordinator mainly works in an office setting, with periods of extended sitting and use of a computer.
